It has been a while
It has been four or so days since my last post. Did I mention trying beef tartar...so good. Tasted somewhat like sushi.

It is extremely hot. I have enjoyed staying inside without the pressure to do anything. It is too hot for baby to go out...so we stay in, yeah vacation! I like lounging...so much...that when we go to the pool, I just lay there and listen to music. I actually have only made one full contact with the pool!
Well my days continue. I will attempted to jar baby food tomorrow, since baby will be wolfing down chorizo any minute now.

Bon Anniversaire
So this is how our morning started...yummy.

It was our mom's bday today. We tromped around downtown and ate delicious foods. I got lost...shopping. Actually I was fine, and I found my way. And purchased nothing. But found some adorable items that I would like to purchase. Oh wait, I would have bought something, but my feet are too big for the french:( I need a 42! Je pense.
This is where we ate lunch...

The plates were, unfortunately filled with two tarts. Oh boy. Then we had a pistachio, coconut tart. This was the same tea house Adams parents ate at when they visited. Yum!

Oh, right. The baby came. And slept the whole time. No biggy. So cute! À demain.

Le jardin
Before:

So, my job is to turn this area into a rock patio. To do this, I am taking the cat-poop dirt and sifting it...separating the sand for soil and rocks for the patio. It looks daunting, but I suppose I can hang out and garden in a no tan-line top for an hour. I will post after pictures...after I am done.
Little Téo was adorable this morning. He was thrown into a duck robe after his bath...a little angry at first, then saw the boob and was fine.

So I became intelligent and ran early in the morning where the temp was low and breezy, compared to sweaty 6pm. Whilst running, I could not find my canal, got lost inside a highschool campus, ran through a McDonalds drive thru, and then up a hill...yay! Enjoyed a cup of Joe then lunch shortly after. We went to a garden store, and I got to carry the baby again! I believe I am the most able right now. But I look cool with the baby. We found a great stool that we will make using the Port Angeles forest-so excited:

À prochain frois!

Au marché

Walked down to the market today. Rita is the preggers one in red. I had the pleasure of carrying the baby throughout the market...he was sleeping and did not spark up any conversation with the french. We purchased lamb for lunch today... Yumyum. Does not taste horribly gamey here.
I tanned while sifting rocks for Joy and Benoit's garden. Also disposing of cat poo that we found. I am about to lay down before my run tonight. I have still not figured out how many miles I have gone, as I cannot seem to find where we are on mapmystupidrun.com. Blah. So à tout a l'heure!

Après-crêpes
On mange trop! Food coma after crepes tonight. The babe stayed in my arms for the walk home, not really helping my four crepe full belly!

... I earned those four crepes btw. I ran down a hill in the sweaty-hot weather in new stupid turquoise shorts that make your thighs rub together. Yeah thanks H & M. But I will do it all the same tomorrow...

Le premier jour en France
Well our first/ second day in france and we danced around Labége...looking for the mall. Labége was a cute suburban area with patio restaurants hiding between neighborhoods. We definitely would not mind if we found ourselves hungry and lost again. Silly, but I purchased running shorts for my run tonight at... H&M. It was fun speaking French again, however it was small words...j'ai cinq. Oui. Merci. Au revoir. It was a short day, we had to wait for bebe to feed/poop/sleep and repeat. Tomorrow we go to Toulouse city centre. Tonight...les crepes!
